Federal, Corporate / IndustrialThis office renovation is of a 2,500 SF space within an office tower in Albany, NY. The tenant was relocating from another space as part of a federal mandate to consoldate space and increase energy efficiency.
After conducting an extensive existing space survey that revealed required elements not originally laid out in the program of requirements, the NKB team worked to find efficiencies in floor plan originally laid out in the design intent drawings.
Located in a public office building, renovations required coordination between adjacent tenants and public spaces. In order to preserve adjacent spaces throughout the construction of the tenant space the project required a a multi-phased construction plan. The project included a large open office, laboratory, conference room, private offices, and a reception area.
Finish selections for the space were proposed by NKB+ID.
