U.S. CUSTOMS & BORDER PROTECTION ROUSES POINT LAND PORT OF ENTRY MASTER PLAN, Rouses Point, NY
Project Overview
This Prospectus Level Feasibility Study for the Rouses Point, NY Land Port of Entry (LPOE) was commissioned by GSA to develop the preferred real estate solution to satisfy the current and long-term asset and program needs of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs & Border Protection (CBP), Trusted Traveler, CBP Rail Inspection, and Immigration & Custom Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations (ICE). Due to the potential magnitude of this project, GSA required this feasibility study to establish a clear scope delineation with associated cost and schedule in order for the project to pursue funding and further develop in future fiscal years.
The NKB Feasibility Study team produced multiple concepts and ultimately a preferred alternative for this land port of entry that accommodates vehicular traffic (privately owned and commercial), rail processing (passenger and freight), marine inspection processing, and Trusted Traveler Program functions.
